The Walls of Jericho, also known as the Tell es-Sultan, are ancient city walls located in what is now Jericho, Palestine. The walls were originally constructed around 8000 BCE and have gone through several modifications and additions throughout history. The most famous account of the walls is recorded in the Bible, where it is said that the walls were miraculously brought down by the Israelites after they marched around the city seven times. The ruins of the city and its walls can still be seen today and are considered a significant archaeological site.
